- September 25-October 1:
- 25: Davydov: Reread the abstract and a little bit of Section 2, absent-mindedly. [2 hours]
- 25: DMNO: Started reading Section 1 (Introduction). [1 hour]
- 26: DMNO: Finished reading Section 1. [0.25 hour]
- 27: ENO1: Reread the abstract. [0.25 hour]
- 28: ENO1: Reread some of Section 1 (Introduction). [0.25 hour]
- 29: ENO1: Finished rereading Section 1 and began reading Section 2 (Results on squared norms, global dimensions, weak Hopf algebras, and Ocneanu rigidity). [1 hour]
- 30: ENO1: Finished reading intro to Section 2, read Section 2.1 (Squared norms and global dimensions). [1.5 hours]
- 1: ENO1: Read Sections 2.2 (Results on pivotal, spherical, and modular categories) and 2.3 (Module categories, the dual category, the Drinfeld center). [1.5 hours]
- November 1:
- 1: Xiao-Gang: suggested adding my Masters unpublished work to my thesis-related research, and emphasized examples and concrete models, say based on Z_n, in thesis.
